Ashton is a Senior Associate at Aitken Whyte Lawyers and provides valuable experience to the firm’s criminal defence, driving, and traffic practice. Ashton completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Southern Queensland and obtained his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Ashton is experienced in criminal law, traffic matters, domestic violence, and regulatory offences. He appears in all State Courts including as solicitor advocate at sentences and trials. Ashton brings a wealth of experience to the firm and our clients.
Having previously worked as a criminal defence lawyer at Legal Aid Queensland and in private law firms, Ashton is well versed in advocating for his clients on a variety of matters. He is comfortable dealing with complex proceedings and serious charges and always takes the time to explain the process clearly.
